Associate producer, director, editor-in-chief, reporter, author and entrepreneur Mark Zegeling (46) is an independent media professional based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

He cultivated his passion for arts and entertainment in a variety of media. Mark has served the industry in a career spanning almost 25 years. Since 1987, he has worked in print, broadcast, and digital media in commercial, public, and not-for-profit contexts.

Mark Zegeling is experienced in creative and executive production services, format development, coaching talents, in-depth research on various subjects, fundraising, and human resource management. He has worked (so far) on about 80 different studio and location programs (live and pre-recorded), ranging from nationwide covered events, daily news shows, talent search shows, talk shows, travel programs, (scripted and constructed) reality series at home and abroad, and documentaries. These activities allowed him to work with various award-winning celebrities, directors, and other creative talents at national and international levels.

Before his broadcast, cable, and digital media careers, Mark was a radio station anchorman and a journalist, writing and editing for regional and national newspapers and magazines. He has also written several books, including ‘Secrets of a Master Painter’ (on forensic research on masterpieces of Rembrandt, Vermeer, Van Gogh, etc.), Little Kingdom by the Sea, a celebration of Dutch cultural heritage, ‘Hidden Stories, Unknown Treasures from the Past’, ‘Mepal; Simply Special, timeless design for everyday’ and the history of coffee brand Douwe Egberts.
